Dale Horace Hempstead

Dale Horace Hempstead, 93, passed away on October 18, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Dale was born in Miami, Florida and was a resident of Fort Pierce for the past 25 years coming from Davie, Florida. His passion was collecting and showing antique cars. He loved to travel and was a member at Community United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Gloria Hempstead Tharp (Roy), of Lynnville, TN and Sandra Rowe (Gary) of Jupiter, Florida; beloved cousin, Tom Hempstead (Mary) of Miami Springs, Florida; granddaughter, Ellen Brown (Brian); great-grandchildren, Sophia and Bolton Brown; grandsons, Sig Stenmark (Debbie), Joe Stenmark (Terri); great-grandchildren, Katie, Cameron, Siggy and Danny Stenmark; special friend, Martha Harris.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife, Ellen Hempstead.

Services: Visitation will be held on October 24, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00PM with a service to follow at 2:00PM at Haisley Funeral Home in Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
