She worked for F.W. Woolworth for 25 years.
Survivors include her sons, Dave DeWitt of Port St. Lucie, FL and James DeWitt of Fort Pierce, FL; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Betty Thompson of North Carolina and Ruth Dennis of Indiana; 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence DeWitt.
