Carroll B. Cardin

Carroll Bates Cardin, 84, passed away April 6, 2017 in Ocala, Florida.
Mr. Cardin came to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1957; he retired to Virginia in 2003 and moved to Ocala, Florida in 2013.
Creed, Carroll, and Jimmy started Cardin and Son’s Floor Covering in the 1950’s; he retired from the family business in 2003. He enjoyed his mountain home and loved to garden. He was a member of AMVets, the American Legion, Fort Pierce Shriner’s Club and the Fort Pierce Masonic Lodge. Carroll was a past President of the Shriner’s Clown Unit.

Survivors include wife of 63 years, Gayle Cardin of Ocala, Florida; son, John M. Cardin of Fort Pierce, Florida; daughter, Deborah Kraft of Vero Beach, Florida; sister, Florence Cardin Outlaw of Jupiter, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Florence and Creed Cardin, his brother, Jimmy Lynn Cardin, and his uncle, Frank Loper.
A gathering will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 5PM-6PM, with a service starting at 6PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel 3015 Okeechobee Road Fort Pierce, Florida 34947.
