Carl James Norton, 59, died April 17, 2014 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mr. Norton was born in North Adams, Massachusetts and moved to Port St. Lucie 25 years ago coming from Williamstown, Massachusetts.
He worked for the City of Port St. Lucie as an Inspector. He was a member of the Port St. Lucie Rotary, avid collector of antique toy cars and enjoyed wood working.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Eileen Norton of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Danielle Sarah Norton of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Jerome Norton of South Hadley, MA; sister, Jennifer Jayko of Williamstown, MA; mother, Phyllis Norton of Williamstown, MA; mother-in-law, Dorothy McCall of Port St. Lucie, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome H. Norton.
Services: A memorial service will be held up north at a later date.
