Betty Mae Britcher, 85, died July 24, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Britcher was born in East Glenville, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1983 coming from Ticonderoga, New York.
Prior to retirement, she worked at Ticonderoga Elementary as a secretary in the school library. She was a volunteer “Pink Lady” at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, and a member of the Catholic Daughters.
Survivors include her son, Michael & Michelle Britcher of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Doris of New York, Elsie of North Carolina, Margie of New York and Ellen of Port St. Lucie, FL; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John T. Britcher, son, Thomas Britcher and brother, Harold Heckler.

Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place at South Florida National Cemetery.
